Job Title: Light Truck Driver
Location: Fort Moore/Benning, GA

Position Summary: Rolling Hills Food Services, LLC is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious
Light Truck Driver to support daily food service operations at Fort Moore/Fort Benning. The Light Truck Driver is responsible for transporting food, supplies, and equipment between dining facilities and central kitchens in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This role plays a vital part in ensuring uninterrupted service to military personnel.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate light-duty company vehicles (vans, box trucks, or small refrigerated trucks) to transport meals, kitchen supplies, and other items between locations
- Load and unload food containers, supplies, and equipment ensuring proper handling and temperature control
- Verify delivery contents against manifests, route sheets, or dispatch instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance checks of assigned vehicle
- Comply with all installation entry requirements and adhere to traffic and safety regulations
- Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents to the supervisor immediately
- Assist in other logistical support as needed to ensure timely meal service
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Represent Rolling Hills Food Services in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean driving record (must pass background check and driving history review)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
- Prior experience driving for food service, military base, or similar environment preferred
- Must be able to pass a base access background check
- Must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain punctuality
Work Environment: - May be exposed to hot/cold temperatures during loading/unloading
- Requires sitting for extended periods while driving
- Fast-paced, mission-driven environment supporting military dining operations
Schedule: - Full-time
- Shifts may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs
